Short note

Short note from the field: As mentioned in previous missives, I’ve been sending out little feelers about linking schools in the US and in Burkina. It seems to actually be taking off, and there are hints of projects involving Wikis in East Windsor NJ, and even some collaboration with my own elementary school in West Amwell. Next up is contacting my alma mater of South Hunterdon High School and seeing if the french teacher wants her students to converse directly (no translation necessary!) with some of the middle/high school students. Oh the possibilities. Doubly neat, is that my parents contacted a local paper about these lil’ initiatives, and it looks like the life and times of PCV Aaron may be put into print in a couple months. That and the reporter for said paper remembers me in my 11th grade musical, ‘The Mikado’ by Gilbert and Sullivan. He said I was good, and this comment made me oddly proud. Tis all for now.
